This is a must visit restaurant in Toledo. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious albeit rather unhealthy. The vibe of the restaurant was so cool. We had a great time! I will be back.
Venerable old-time place where you can “feel” the 1930’s. Looking for Corporal Klinger? He’s there (in cardboard form). In fact, you can see many pictures of former MASH characters throughout. Lots of Tiffany style lights suspended throughout the restaurant. Friendly, gregarious staff. Good food - Hungarian hotdogs, Delicious! Very good chili…. Lots to look at there. I’d go, if I were you.
Decided to stop in while passing through Toledo. Cool to see the older interior with all the signed hotdog buns. I had the stuffed cabbage, original Packo dog, and Hungarian dumplings. Hot and fresh, tasty and filling. Glad we stopped here, great food!
I went with my family on Saturday. The place was great, bring you back in time. I ordered the pickle dip absolutely delicious.😋 I also got the cabbage roll with hot dog and the best food ever so good and delicious. Brings back childhood memories and love. I would 100% comeback again even if you have family and friends. Great food and drinks.
Yes, worth the stop and livestream up to its longstanding reputation Chili was hearty meaty and spiced perfectly! Cincinnati chili has no business being discussed compared to Tony’s Hungarian hot dog with Tony’s sauce was plump and had a juicy snap with each bite Strudel topped off the meal with a flaky crust and tart cherries!!
Stopped in on a road trip and had a delicious meal. The Hungarian hotdog was great as was the Paprikas. The rest of the food looked delicious as well and the interior was quite nice. I personally did not see Mash growing up, so I can only comment that the food is definitely worth it.
The original and the best! I used to come here years ago with my late father. My wandering brought me through Toledo again. It’s been a long time away. I was afraid Tony Packo’s had changed, like everything else. NOPE!! I’m happy to say that everything is wonderfully the same! Thank you for helping me relive wonderful memories! My next visit will be much sooner.
Very nice spot with delicious food.👌🏻 Visited this Hungarian restaurant tonight with a couple of company friends. And we had a great time. Very friendly and helpful staff. And since I'm Polish, and we in Poland 🇵🇱 are very good friends with Hungarian people 🇭🇺, I have absolutely loved this place and the food! ❤️💪🏻 I had The Packo's Feast, which consists of one Cabbage Roll, one Hungarian Hot-dog served with a sausage and topped with chili sauce, and a Cup of Chili soup. All was very good, well seasoned and very tasty (and yes, alo a bit spicy and hot, but it's something totally regular for Hungarian cuisine). 🔥🇭🇺👌🏻 And one of the main reasons I just had to get this Packo's Feast, was this homemade cabbage roll, done in a Hungarian way. Why? Because we in Poland do a cabbage roll as well, so had to compare how it tastes. 😅 Ours are done a bit differently, usually are bigger, and we call them "Gołąbki" (literally "Pigeons" 🕊😁). But this tonight's Hungarian cabbage roll was truly tasty. Liked it much! 😋👍🏻 If you asked me, I'd do this restaurant again. Strongly recommend it. 👌🏻🇭🇺❤️
